SLC Sementes expands partnerships, portfolio and biotechnology for soy
The company has 23 varieties for the 2022/23 harvest and has a partnership with the main market players; cultivars integrate the SLC Sementes Garante program with a minimum quality index of 90%
SLC Sementes, a brand owned by SLC Agrícola, aimed at providing Brazilian producers with access to seed varieties with productive potential and quality, launches the soy portfolio for the 2022/2023 harvest next Wednesday (December 1st). During the season, the company offers the farmer 23 seed varieties, an increase of 64% compared to the previous period.
Another highlight is the expansion of partnerships. It joins the list of main players that offer the best biotechnologies to SLC Sementes, which already includes Syngenta, Monsoy and Brasmax and TMG. “Our objective is to provide the customer with varieties, technology, seed quality and service. Items that are the foundation of producer´s productivity. Therefore, we are increasingly looking for solutions and innovations to boost Brazilian agricultural production. We have all the biotechnologies on the market to collaborate with the producer”, highlights Gustavo Lunardi, Director of Supplies and Seed Production.
“Product volume also grew. We registered a 70% increase in the quantity of planned seeds, compared to sales in 2021. There was also an increase in the team dedicated to offering the producer the best variety and service, including after-sales, by 91%", Lunardi comments
SLC Sementes Garante
The company has a unique and innovative program for farmers, SLC Sementes Garante, which ensures a quality index of 90% in germination under suitable sowing conditions, providing greater commitment to delivery of the product. Traceability and artificial intelligence are some aspects used to guarantee the quality index of the seed lots produced.
The Program also has support from SLC Sementes´ after-sales, providing a product that honors the commitment made at the time of purchase and that supports establishment of the plantation with excellence.
According to João Vanin, seed production manager at SLC Agrícola, this year the company is developing a disruptive technology for seed quality certification. “It is strategically aligned with SLC Sementes Garante, which has a selection of lots with fast germination, generating strong, vigorous and productive plants”, he highlights.
