SLC Agrícola provides benefits for entities through tax incentives
In December 2018, SLC Agrícola assigned BRL 1,656,000.00 via tax incentive laws levied on the Income Tax Due from its operations during 2018.
Based on the tax incentives, the supported projects benefited 21 entities that are active in the areas of culture, health and guaranteeing the rights of children, adolescents and the elderly, such as Funcriança, Fundo do Idoso (Fund for the Elderly), Lei de Incentivo ao Esporte (Sports Incentive Law), Rouanet Law, PRONON (National Program for the Support of Oncological Care), PRONAS/PCD (National Program to Support the Care of the Health of People with Disabilities).
The criteria for selecting projects are based on the voluntary commitments of SLC Agrícola as a signatory of the UN Global Compact and on contributing to the fulfillment of the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals.
It is estimated that 6,500 people have benefited directly.
