Perdizes Farm (MT) celebrates 1 year accident-free
On September 3, Perdizes Farm, located in Porto dos Gauchos (MT) completed one year without accidents that require workers to go on a sick leave. To celebrate such a significant date, a special breakfast was served. There, folders talking about how important it is to have preventive health checks were given out. The audience also heard talks about diabetes, men’s health, and defensive driving.
Farm manager Zacareli Massuquini and OHS Coordinator Helimberto Lopes opened the event. Marciano Rossetto presented the Internal Occupational Accident Prevention Committee’s new format, called Participatory Management. Coordinators José Aguiar (Inventory), Adilson (Warehouse), Marciano Rossetto (Maintenance), Uilhan and Ozeias (Crop), and Hugo Valentim (Foreman) talked about their departments, an initiative by the Programa Saiba Mais (Learn More Program).
At the end of the day, a play was put on by the employees’ children on the topic “Super PPE,” organized by employees Miqueli Rost and Edna Costa. A mixer dinner was held, and guests enjoyed a traditional rib roast.
