Pamplona Farm (GO) sets new record for cotton lint yield in the 23/24 crop year
In the 2023/24 harvest, the Pamplona farm, in Goiás (GO), reached a historic milestone, with yield of 2,460 kg of cotton lint per hectare, the highest recorded to date. The yield was obtained in an area spanning over 8,400 hectares, thanks to the effort and dedication of our employees, combined with efficient agricultural planning and cutting-edge technology applied to production. The Pamplona farm also has an area certified with the Regenagri seal of regenerative agriculture, which reflects our long-term commitment to sustainability.
We concluded the cotton harvest in September, with a total yield of 1,942 kg/ha of cotton lint, in line with the project, and 2.9% higher than the national average, according to CONAB data of October 2024.
In the 2023/24 crop year, the cotton planted area spanned 188,734 hectares, which corresponds to 26.2% of the Company's total production in the period.
