Annual SLC Agrícola Production Convention
From May 24-26, the 21st Seminar on Technical Planning and Assessment (SAPT) and the 4th Mechanization Meeting were held.
This event, which is held on an annual basis, was attended by over 135 participants from the Agricultural Planning Area, such as Directors, Managers and Coordinators from all Production Units. The purpose of this event is the search for knowledge, technical exchanges between Farming Units, exchange of information on best practices, training and networking.
This year, the event was organized by the Parnaíba Farm (MA), where a field day was put together in order to show how cotton and interim-harvest corn crops are managed. At the headquarters, a tour was held in order to show the overall structure, the cotton-related facilities and storage units.
The program of the event also included lectures given by three external speakers, who addressed current topics on the management of nitrogen and vegetation covers, biotechnology and protection of crops. The technical team at SLC Agrícola also presented studies and internal results.
The Mechanization area addressed topics on the future of farms, focusing on technology, autonomous maintenance and cost management systems.
All this information guides our commitment to achieving better results and to standardizing productive processes.
