SLC Ventures makes first ever investment in agricultural technology
SLC Ventures, an arm of SLC Agrícola focused on accelerating innovative and digital solutions in the field, through contributions to agtechs, announces its first investment in a startup in the agricultural market. The investment is in Aegro, a company founded in 2014 that develops tools for farm management. The investment is SLC Ventures’ first step towards its goal of helping in the development of agtechs so that they can grow and deliver solutions that increase the productivity and profitability of Brazilian agriculture.

Good news for Brazilian agribusiness. Exports in the segment broke a record in May, with US$13.94 billion, a growth of 33.7% compared to the same month in 2020, according to the Secretariat of Commerce and International Relations of the Ministry of Agriculture.
