The CEO of SLC Agrícola, Aurélio Pavinato, presented, this Thursday (1), a Live to welcome the employees of the company Terra Santa, who become part of SLC Agrícola after the deal involving the two companies.

SLC Sementes, a brand of SLC Agrícola, aimed at providing Brazilian producers with access to seed varieties with productive potential and quality, launches this Wednesday (14/7), its portfolio of cotton seeds. A reference in the production of soybean seeds, the company seeks to provide rural producers with another option focused on cotton cultivation.

Last Saturday, the now traditional annual edition of the Regional Cotton Meeting took place, an event promoted by Fundação BA. SLC Agrícola was present through a lecture by its CEO, Aurélio Pavinato, on the importance of healthy financial management of a property.

SLC Agrícola, through the SLC Institute, will, throughout this year, make donations to entities that serve people in situations of social vulnerability in cities in the states where its farms and headquarters are located, in Porto Alegre (RS ). In total, associations, entities and families from more than 30 municipalities, located in seven Brazilian states, will receive basic food baskets. The amount made available by Instituto SLC for the corporate social responsibility action will be 180 tons of food.

This week, the National Opening of the 2021 Corn Harvest took place. At the event, several analysts brought their perceptions about the crop for the next harvest. Conab, at this point, maintains the harvest estimate of 66.9 million tons in this second corn harvest.
