SLC Agrícola participates in World Agri-Tech South America Summit and highlights investments in area
Discussing innovation and technology in agribusiness is essential for the industry’s future. And SLC Agrícola, which is always attentive to the latest industry trends, regularly participates in events and forums to exchange ideas and perspectives and to talk about the company’s initiatives.
This week, SLC Agrícola’s head of Innovation, Frederico Logemann, participated on the panel Producer Focus: Priorities, Opportunities and Investments at the World Agri-Tech South America Summit, alongside Fernando Degobbi, CEO of Coopercitrus, and Gabriela Nichel, owner of the Boa Vista Farm in Rio Grande do Sul. During the event, the representative of SLC Agrícola highlighted some of the initiatives being implemented on its 16 farms, such as directed spraying of pesticides, the incorporation of telemetry and weather monitoring using precision agriculture tools.
The speakers were asked about technological gaps in agriculture. Frederico Logemann noted the lack of integration between technological tools and the need to expand connectivity, among other things.
