SLC Agrícola sets new soybean yield record for fourth straight year
SLC Agrícola reported on Thursday (12) its financial results for the second quarter as well as its soybean operational performance for the 2020/21 crop year. During the season, SLC Agrícola set a new soybean yield record for the fourth straight year.
During the 2020/21 crop year, SLC Agrícola harvested 3,970 kilos of soybean per hectare, which was 5.7% above the projection. Gross income from soybean invoiced by the company in the second quarter was R$385.6 million, representing growth on the same quarter last crop year of 176.6%.
The company also reported net income for the second quarter of R$447.2 million, representing growth on the prior-year period of 128.1%.
