Brazilian corn can be an alternative in the world market
Analysts at TF Consultoria Agroeconômica believe that Brazil should escape the downward trend of corn, which is being experienced by most of the world. According to the specialists, the US Department of Agriculture's report last Friday (June 10th) indicated a slope that may be bearish for the rest of the world, but not for Brazil, because Brazil counts on the possibility of increasing demand for the grain by 10 million tons, which should make a difference.
TF analysts' estimates are that the demand will make the trading companies compete for goods in all corners of the country, enabling prices to rise in the second half of 2022.
Other factors that make the appreciation of corn during the week possible are the forecasts of adverse weather in some productive regions of the USA and the low stocks in China for 2022-2023, which has already signed a phytosanitary agreement to make Brazilian exports viable.
