Success stories in Inclusive Education become web series
The main objective of SLC Agrícola's Inclusive Education Program is to encourage continuous learning among its employees and enable education to transform their lives. Since 2017, 402 students have already participated in the Inclusive Education program at the company's 16 Units, and in 2021, 278 employees are enrolled in the EJA classes being held at the farms. Through this program, SLC Agrícola has already reduced the illiteracy rate by 70%.
Stories that depict these changes are part of the web series called “Inclusive Education”. The first episode tells the story of Raimundo, any employee at SLC Agrícola’s Pioneira Farm in Mato Grosso. Raimundo narrates his story of searching for education and how opportunities can transform lives.
Déa Machado, People Management and Corporate Communication Manager at SLC Agrícola, reiterates the importance of EJA for the company. “The web series features a few stories of employees who participated in the program and who managed to transform their lives. These people underscore the fact that SLC Agrícola is constantly concerned about education and that we seek new avenues for more employees to participate in the Inclusive Education Program.”
