SLC Agrícola, one of the world’s largest producers of grains and fibers, won yet another recognition for its investment in the training and development of its employees. The South American Human Resources Meeting (ESARH) awarded the Company the ESARH Award, in the Projects – People Management Category, for the case “Inclusive Education: continued learning to challenge and transform”. The award has been held by ESARH for over 40 years and recognizes the best practices in human resources with a commitment to disseminating knowledge and improving the work of organizations.

SLC Agrícola, one of the largest grain and fiber producers in Brazil, recorded net profit of 113.7 million reais in the third quarter, 2.4% in 3Q21 and 33.0% in 9M21 compared to the same period of the previous year .

With the aim of continuing its efforts to increase the production of grains and fibers in a sustainable way, SLC Agrícola operates in Crop-Livestock Integration (ILP) with a combination of initiatives and strategies in order to contribute to increasing crop productivity, in addition to expand positive environmental impacts with increased carbon absorption by the soil, via increased levels of organic matter.

SLC Agrícola, one of the world’s largest producers of grains and fibers, was part of the Summit Agronegócio 2021 program, promoted by the newspaper O Estado de S. Paulo on the 16th and 17th of November. With the theme “Brazil at COP-26”, the event debated the issues addressed at the 26th Climate Conference, which ended on the 13th, after around 200 countries adopted the Glasgow climate agreement, in Scotland.

Cotton planting in the 2021/22 harvest reached the mark of 0.20% of the planned area according to information collected until November 18, with an increase of 0.07% in the week, according to the Brazilian Association of Cotton Producers (Abrapa) . The entity also reported that the area sown in São Paulo is currently 33% and in Paraná, 43%. The forecast is that the 2021/22 harvest will increase by 12.6% compared to the previous harvest, reaching 1.53 million hectares of cultivated cotton.

SLC Agrícola, one of the world’s largest producers of grains and fibers, is among the winners of the “Best of Agribusiness” award, carried out by Revista Globo Rural, in partnership with Serasa Experian. For the fifth consecutive year, the company was highlighted in the Agricultural Production category. Furthermore, for the first time, it was recognized in the Sustainability category, competing against 178 companies.
