Featured in the Best in ESG Awards
In 2025, SLC Agrícola was recognized for the fourth consecutive time in the Best in ESG Awards, granted by Exame Magazine. The awards recognize the actions of companies in social responsibility, environment and governance. The company ranked second in the Agribusiness category. The winning companies were announced on June 25, in São Paulo. The Best in ESG is the evolution of the traditional EXAME Sustainability Guide, one of Brazil's main guides on social responsibility for over two decades. The publication was created in 2000, as Exame Guide to Good Corporate Citizenship, and was renamed as the topic evolved in society. In 2020, the methodology was revamped to give more emphasis to ESG criteria.
SLC's Sustainability Strategic Map has defined objectives to promote the ESG agenda in the company: make the company's operations net zero in carbon emissions for scopes 1 and 2; certify the farms under the Integrated Management System (ISOs 14001, 45001 and 16001); reach 100% of employees with Elementary Education concluded; reduce the lost-time accident frequency rate to zero, implement the Circular Economy Program across all farms; increase the representativeness of the use of bio-inputs and implement the "Sowing Sustainability" Program in 100% of the municipalities where SLC Agrícola operates.
