SLC Agrícola makes its debut in Corporate Governance ranking
SLC Agrícola made its debut in the Corporate Governance ranking made up by means of a survey carried out by América Economia. It debuted in 22nd place from a list of 100 companies surveyed.
América Economia, in partnership with consultancy company Delta Economics & Finance, has a ranking that lists the best companies according to a Corporate Governance Index (IGC¬100).
The publicly-traded companies with the highest trading volumes at BM&FBovespa were analyzed in seven categories, in which 75 variables related to good governance practices were assessed.
In comparison with last year, 13 new companies joined the list, including SLC Agrícola, which debuted in 22nd place.
The companies were evaluated based on a questionnaire that assessed the information made available by those companies on their websites, as well as information submitted to the Securities and Exchange Commission (CVM), in their Reference Forms and in their annual sustainability reports.
Acknowledgments such as this one show how much the company is in alignment with the best practices found in the market where they operate, and how we always strive to achieve our Big Dream.
