Pamplona hosts new edition of Farm Day
On July 9, Fazenda Pamplona (GO) welcomed another edition of Farm Day, an event designed to connect investors, analysts, and business partners with the realities of the field and the practices that drive our business forward. This year’s edition was particularly special, marking SLC’s 80th anniversary.
André Vasconcellos, SLC's Financial Planning and Investor Relations Manager, opened the event by underscoring its value in building stronger ties with stakeholders across the agribusiness sector. Attendees were invited to watch a retrospective video celebrating SLC’s 80-year history, followed by remarks from Eduardo Logemann, President of the SLC Group and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the company. Then, the company’s manifesto video was presented, unveiling our new brand to guests and reaffirming our commitment to both our legacy and our future.
The technical agenda featured six presentations on strategic topics. Aurélio Pavinato, CEO of SLC Agrícola, kicked off the session by discussing the company’s growth and outlook. Following his remarks, Leonardo Celini (COO), Álvaro Dilli (Director of HR, Sustainability, and IT), Gustavo Lunardi (Chief Procurement, Mechanization and Seed Business Officer), Roberto Acauan (Chief Sales and New Businesses Officer), and Digital Agriculture representatives Ronei Sana and Alexandre Munhoz provided key insights on crop performance, irrigation, ESG initiatives, seeds, commodity markets, and technological advancements.
After the presentations, the APIMEC Seal and the 2024 Quality Award were presented, underscoring SLC Agrícola's commitment to excellence and industry-leading practices. The Q&A session enabled direct engagement between participants and company leadership, concluding the morning's corporate agenda.
In the afternoon, guests toured the farm's cotton and corn fields in small groups, experiencing up close the operational routine and the use of cutting-edge technology in the field. The first visits were to the Innovation and Mechanization Station, featuring the Moray robot, used for monitoring pests, and to the Regenerative Agriculture Station, which showcased good agricultural practices and carbon projects. Next, the groups went through the cotton mill and the take-up room, following the complete process of cotton processing and classification.
Visitors were able to learn more about how SLC Agrícola combines innovation, efficiency, and sustainability in its daily operations, including the use of robots in the fields, regenerative agriculture, as well as the cotton processing and classification process.
"SLC is essentially an open-air production facility, Pamplona is an illustration of that. Bringing city-based investors here is important, as they can directly observe our efficiency and technological innovation, moving from theory to practical application," said Ivo Brum, Chief Financial and Investor Relations Officer.
"At the event, our leadership showcased our track record of achievements and the promising outlook ahead for the company. We are committed to innovation and sustainable production. As a result, investors gain clear insights into our business and confidently recommend our company's shares," said Aurélio Pavinato, CEO, in the official video of the event.
Farm Day once again proves to be an authentic deep dive into SLC Agrícola’s values, offering meaningful connections, insights, and a celebration of our journey, while always looking to the future with responsibility and strategic vision.
