* The percentage numbers are the planted area of each region in relation to our total planted area.
** Total planted area includes owned areas (which include Legal Reserve), leased areas, areas in partnerships and under control. We own 100% of LandCo. Includes second harvest. Climatic factors may affect the projection of planted area. Note: Pioneira Farm (MT) is part of the joint operation with the Roncador Group. Perdizes Farm (MT) and Paladino Farm (BA) are part of the joint operation with Mitsui in SLC-Mit.
“To positively impact future generations by being a world leader in agricultural business efficiency and respect for the planet.”
Currently in the Phase 3, which began in 2015, we are betting and investing heavily in innovation and technology, as well as in ESG practices to achieve and maintain four strategic objectives: Predominantly Asset Light growth; Efficiency, distance from the average; Financial Strength; and ESG Stewardship – expressed in a strategic agenda, with public goals for socio-environmental contribution.
Anchored in these pillars, we achieved significant growth, with the possibility of expanding our planted area by more than 60,000 hectares in the 2024/2025 crop year.
As of December 31, 2024, our share capital was divided into 443,329,716 common shares with no par value, with free float of 44.0%. We trade shares under the code “SLCE3” on the B3 Novo Mercado, the highest corporate governance segment. In addition, we have shares available on the North American over-the-counter market, via Level 1 ADR, with the ticker “SLCJY”.
Our average daily volume, traded on the spot market in 2024, reached the milestone of R$ 45 million. The distribution of dividends, in the past five fiscal years, presented an average payout of 50% of the adjusted net profit.
In comparison with 2022/23, we present a slight reduction in planted area in the 2023/24 crop year, especially due to the corn 2nd crop year.
Due to adverse weather conditions, such as El Niño, which had an impact especially in Mato Grosso, impacting soybean and corn production, we recorded net revenue 4.4% lower than in the last period.
The year 2024 was one of excellent performance at SLC Sementes, compared to 2023, with highlights including:
Increase in sales volume for small and medium producers by 13%.
Revenue of R$ 737 million, an increase of 21.2%.
Gross income of R$ 514.2 million, an increase of 40.1%, with gross margin of 69.8%.
Net profit of R$ 54 million, growth of 29.1%, with net margin of 7.3%.
Capex for the year reached R$ 1.1 billion, a record investment, growth of 7.3% compared to 2023. The three main allocations for the year:

16.8% in buildings and facilities (R$ 62.2 million invested in irrigation to reduce our exposure to climate risks and allow for two crop years per agricultural year).
We ended 2024 with 6,065 employees, an increase of 5.35% compared to 2023. With this team, we celebrate great achievements:
According to Great Place To Work (GPTW), we are among the Best Companies to Work for in Rio Grande do Sul and in the GPTW Agribusiness ranking.
We won the Top Human Being Award from ABRH-RS.
We have been certified by Great People Mental Health in mental health for providing psychological safety to our employees.
We recorded an increase in voluntary participation in the climate survey, which is essential for our improvement, with 74% of our own employees participating, well above the 56% in 2023.
In our commitment to diversity, during this period we increased female participation by 23.9% compared to the previous year.
We value ethical and long-lasting relationships with our suppliers and maintain contracts with clauses that aim to guarantee legality and efficiency in our production chain. With this objective in mind, in 2023 we also launched a Code of Ethics and Conduct for Third Parties.
During the year, we also provided training to 72% of suppliers classified as critical and, for the entire base, we provided feedback with a focus on continuous improvement.
We trade our commodities mainly through large trading companies, following our Sales and Risk Management policies, which provides greater predictability and transparency to negotiations. There is also activity through direct sales, such as in livestock farming and in part of seeds and cotton lint.
Thanks to our careful relationship, we were three-time winners of the Best Companies in Customer Satisfaction award, granted by the MESC Institute, and we occupied 4th place in the general ranking among the 100 best companies evaluated.
We adopt actions to contribute to the development of communities surrounding our production units, a commitment expressed in our strategic objectives. The main activity is through education projects, in which there is private social investment and through tax incentives, and volunteer initiatives. On this front, we have the SLC Institute to structure actions and direct resources.
Since 2021, in accordance with our Zero Deforestation Policy, we formally assume the position of not carrying out conversions of native vegetation areas for agricultural and pastoral activities, as well as not acquiring, leasing or establishing joint ventures in properties that have native vegetation converted after the date of August 31, 2021.
We have increasingly advanced in the adoption of regenerative agriculture practices, especially through:
Localized application of pesticides;
Cover plants;
Planting without soil disturbance;
Crop rotation;
Integrated pest and disease management;
Use of systems such as Crop-Livestock Integration and Crop-Livestock-Forest Integration;
Use of biological pesticides.
Through these actions, we secured in 2023 the Regenagri Seal – through which we are the largest company in certified area of regenerative agriculture in soybean and cotton in the Americas.
We manage our emissions by preparing a Greenhouse Gas Emissions Inventory recognized by the Brazilian GHG Protocol Program, a document through which we monitor our Decarbonization Plan towards the goal of neutrality in scopes 1 and 2 by 2030.
