We are the world’s largest individual certified producer of soybean and corn!
The 2023 Round Table on Responsible Soy (RTRS) audit was concluded in November 2023 and we have reasons to celebrate. We are proud to announce that we are the world’s largest individual certified producer of soybean and corn!
Currently, we have 15 farms certified under the RTRS standard, The total certified soybean area increased from 233,498 hectares in 2022 to 254,144 hectares in 2023. Our certified soybean production surpasses one million tons. Our certified corn area increased significantly, from 76,273 hectares to 116,728 hectares.
We wish to highlight the receipt of soybean and corn certification by the Pantanal Farm (MS) in 2023. Four units were granted the corn certification: Pampeira, Piracema, Próspera and Pirapora, all in Mato Grosso. We also renewed the soybean and corn certifications for 10 units: Parnaíba (MA), Planeste (MA), Palmares (BA), Panorama (BA), Pamplona (GO), Pioneira (MT), Planalto (MS), Perdizes (MT), Planorte (MT) and Paiaguás (MT).
The RTRS certification is an important international recognition that guarantees the responsible production standards of soybean and corn. It certifies that soybean and corn were produced in accordance with Legal Compliance and Good Business Practices, Responsible Working Conditions, Responsible Community Relations, Environmental Responsibility and Good Agricultural Practices. We remain committed to contributing to ethical and responsible agricultural practices, in line with the RTRS principles.
