SLC Agrícola receives Best ESG Award from Exame magazine for the second time
On June 13, SLC Agrícola received, for the second consecutive time, an important recognition for its ESG practices. The company was awarded with Exame´s 2023 Best of ESG Award, which recognizes companies' actions in social responsibility, environmental actions and governance. The company was included among the winners in the Agribusiness, Food and Beverage category.
The award ceremony, held in São Paulo, was attended by SLC Agrícola's CEO, Aurélio Pavinato, and its CFO and Investor Relations Manager, Rodrigo Gelain.
“SLC Agrícola continues to strengthen its socio-environmental and governance commitments, which have guided its actions so far and yielded important recognitions, such as this one. This award serves as an incentive for ESG practices to be increasingly integrated and strengthened in all sectors of the company”, says Pavinato.
Created in 2000, the EXAME Good Corporate Citizen Guide and the Best ESG Award are currently some of the main guidelines on corporate responsibility. The award highlights organizations that have been a benchmark and have made a relevant contribution to sustainable development and a more responsible market in Brazil.
