SLC Agrícola receives Transparency Trophy certification
On October 10, SLC Agrícola received a plaque certifying that it won the 27th Transparency Trophy given by the Brazilian Association of Finance, Management and Accounting Executives (Anefac). SLC Agrícola was among the winners in the category of companies with sales revenue from R$5 billion to R$20 billion, for the quality of its financial information in fiscal year 2022. This is the fifth year the company receives this award, and the trophy will be delivered at a ceremony to be held on November 9, in São Paulo (SP).
The certificate was handed over by Bolí Rosales, Chief Operations Officer of Anefac, and Marta Pelucio, Chief Technical Officer and Director, to Ivo Brum, Chief Financial and Investor Relations Officer of SLC Agrícola, Marcelo Lambrecht, Accounting Manager, and Aline Silva, Accounting Coordinator. Aline, in fact, was one of the 10 most awarded accountants for financial statements, which served as the basis of such recognition, winning four awards.
At the meeting, Bolí and Marta provided details about the awards and pointed out that 300 companies submitted their financial statements initially but only 30 were awarded. They highlighted that the trophy’s evaluation committee is highly qualified, with members including representatives from universities. For a company to be awarded, it is evaluated on over 50 items.
“We are very proud to receive this award once again. Only a few companies are recognized, which makes it even harder to remain at the top,” said Marcelo Lambrecht. “This recognition is extremely positive and we are truly honored. I thank all employees in the Accounting area and share with them this recognition,” said Aline Silva, who was accompanied by the Accounting team.
