SLC Agrícola sponsors Project MudaMundo
For the third consecutive year, SLC Agrícola sponsors the execution of the MudaMundo project. This year, the first stage of the project (to occur in May) will contemplate the Brazilian states of Bahia, Maranhão, and - for the first time - Piauí. The project, destined for teachers and students in the first grades of Elementary School from public schools, is organized by the Ministry of Culture by way of the Federal Culture Incentive Law and receives support from Municipal Departments of Education.
The main goal of the project meets the expectation held by SLC Agrícola, MudaMundo’s sponsor in the region. “With the MudaMundo project, SLC Agrícola proposes to transpose the concepts proclaimed by social responsibility, helping teachers to address several values in class with their students, contributing to the company’s main wish, which is to have a positive impact on the future generations”, highlights Déa Machado, SLC Agrícola’s Human Resources Manager.
The project is aligned with the United Nations Global Compact Goals for Sustainable Development, which refers to Education and Quality
