SLC Agrícola is the best in agribusiness according to EXAME’s Best and Biggest awards
On September 13, SLC Agrícola received the 2023 Best and Biggest award from EXAME magazine, ranking 1st in the Agribusiness category. At the awards ceremony held in São Paulo, the company was represented by its CEO, Aurélio Pavinato, and the Legal and Compliance Manager, Roberto Acauan.
The Best and Biggest award recognizes SLC Agrícola’s performance in Brazil’s agribusiness sector and ranks it the country’s biggest company in the sector. This is the second time the company wins the award, which highlights its importance in such an important sector of the Brazilian economy. The award honors leading publicly-held companies or corporations, using public data in Brazil, based on financial statements published in official registers (Diários Oficiais) and balance sheets disclosed in trustworthy sources (B3 and CVM) and large, respectable communication vehicles.
“This award is an important recognition of the consistent efforts by the SLC Agrícola team in its relentless pursuit of improved efficiency and sustainability of the production system,” said Pavinato.
