SLC Agrícola chosen as being among the Best Places to Work in RS
The company has once again been recognized as one of the state’s Great Places to Work (GPTW)
SlC Agrícola, one of the largest world’s largest producers of grains and fibers, is once again being recognized for its people management. The company was included in the list “Rio Grande do Sul’s Best Places to Work”, which was compiled by the Great Place to Work (GPTW) consultancy and released last Wednesday (12/15).
For the 2021 edition, SLC Agrícola was included in the category for large companies. In addition to being one of the top-ranked companies in Rio Grande do Sul, the company has already previously been included in recent years among GPTW’s Best Workplaces nationwide in the Agribusiness category.
According to Déa Machado, People Management and Corporate Communications Manager at SLC Agrícola, this achievement reflects the efforts the company has made towards developing its collaborators. “Since it was founded, SLC Agrícola has consistently invested in improving its workplace environment in order to benefit collaborators, who are an essential element of the company’s success. To be chosen as a Best Place to Work for Rio Grande do Sul, the state in which the company was started, is proof that we are on the right path towards offering an environment that fosters engagement and includes the right people”, she affirmed.
About GPTW
GPTW publishes more than 40 lists each year, selecting the Best Places to Work at a national and regional level, as well as by sector (for example, IT and Health Care). It also compiles rankings for specific themes (Best Workplaces for Women). The ranking’s methodology includes criteria such as Climate Surveys completed by employees in order to measure the quality of a workplace environment.
Another area assessed is testimonials from collaborators with regards to why they consider the organization to be an excellent place to work, how it could improve its cultural practices, and in which the company provides the initiatives it has implemented with regards to GPTW’s methodology.
