SLC 1,000 machine symbolically participates in the soybean harvest at Pamplona Farm
A historic moment marked the harvest of the soybean crop at Pamplona Farm (GO). The iconic 1,000 model machine, which made history at SLC Agrícola, returned to the field to symbolically participate in the harvest along with current and modern machines, recalling our pioneering journey and constant evolution.
The SLC 1,000 model machine, produced by SLC (then Schneider Logemann & Cia.), was completely restored by the Maintenance team at Pamplona Farm and was one of the attractions at the Farm Day event, held in July last year. On the occasion, the President of the SLC Group, Eduardo Logemann, highlighted the work and took pictures next to the machine. The harvester was acquired in 2023 and its recovery took ten months. That is why this small participation was considered so important, especially because 2025 is the year of celebration of the 80 years of the SLC Group, and the machine model 1,000 is part of this success story.
"It was an honor to see a machine that was part of the history of the evolution of Brazilian agribusiness return to operation, even if for a few moments. It is a machine model that helped in the growth of agriculture in the country and is in the memory of all those who have been dealing with farming for many years. It was very important in automating soybean harvesting, and it is interesting to see this equipment in action with other machines that have much more technology. It is a source of great pride for all of us at the Farm and, especially, for the team that managed to restore this historic machine," said the Manager of Pamplona Farm, Renan Rolim.
