SLC Institute signs partnership with Global Communities
The SLC Institute has formed a partnership with Global Communities, a non-profit organization that will train volunteers from the companies of the SLC Group and design social investment and community development strategies for our initiatives.
The first action of the partnership was an online effort to raise awareness among managers and volunteers. The meetings began in October and should be concluded in early 2021. The goal is to explain to everyone the concept of Corporate Volunteering, which has three benefits:
- The company strengthens its image before society, retains talent and improves its organizational climate.
- Employees develop skills such as leadership, team work, communication and proactivity, while acquiring new experiences and exercising citizenship.
- The community becomes stronger, receives support to resolve issues, disseminates its cause and attracts other potential supporters.
