Horizonte SLC is present at South Summit Brazil 2023
Horizonte SLC, an innovative movement by SLC Agrícola, was present at South Summit 2023, one of the largest global innovation ecosystem events, held at Cais Mauá, in Porto Alegre (RS) between March 29 and 31. In addition to being one of the sponsors of the South Summit, SLC Agrícola participated in the event with its own stand, which attracted many visitors to learn more about the company and hold interactions with the Horizonte robot, which ended up being one of the highlights of the summit. He shared the history of the corporation and of the Horizonte SLC brand, and even danced for the audience. In addition to many visitors, the stand was visited by the Vice President of the SLC Group, Jorge Luiz Logemann, his son, Alexandre Logemann, and Officers and Managers of SLC Máquinas, one of the companies of the SLC Group.
Four SLC Agrícola employees participated in talks given during the event: Álvaro Dilli (HR, Sustainability and IT Officer), Frederico Logemann (Head of Innovation), Carlos Aranha (Ecosystem Leader) and Daniele Lopes (Innovation PMO). Álvaro Dilli participated in the “Sustainability Linked to Business Strategy” panel, held on the main stage of the South Summit, talking about the company's sustainability policy. On the same day and time, Carlos Aranha spoke about the “Use of Cryptocurrencies in the Expansion of Agribusiness” theme. Frederico Logemann participated in the “When Sustainability and Agribusiness Come Together” panel and Daniele Lopes discussed “The Panel of Agriculture in Food Production in a Sustainable Future” theme. On Friday, the last day of the event, Frederico Logemann mediated the “The Role of Credit in Brazilian Agribusiness” panel, also on the main stage.
During the South Summit, SLC Agrícola's Innovation team also promoted the launch of Ideias&Resultados [ideas and results], the company's intrapreneurship program. I&R aims to spread the culture of innovation to internal teams and stimulate employees in the ideation, development and execution of innovative solutions to strategic challenges that generate value for SLC Agrícola. On the last day of the event, the summit introduced the Horizonte SLC brand and its objectives to several startups.
For Frederico Logemann, Head of Innovation at SLC Agrícola, the company's participation in South Summit 2023 was remarkable. "In our second appearance at the event, it was proven that the area of innovation is one of the highlights of the economy, especially because of the benefits and results it can provide for agribusiness."
