Farm Day 2024 brings together the Board of Directors, shareholders, and analysts at Pamplona Farm
On July 3, SLC Agrícola held another edition of its Farm Day event, which aims to present to shareholders, market analysts, and stakeholders the day-to-day operation at a production unit. Pamplona Farm, located in Goiás, was once again chosen as the setting for this meeting. This was the first farm to be acquired by SLC Agrícola in 1980, marking the beginning of the company's efforts to develop the Brazilian Cerrado as an agribusiness frontier.
The event started with a reception for the guests and the introduction of the new Chief Sales Officer, Roberto Acauan. The first lecture of the day was about New Business and leases, with the CEO, Aurélio Pavinato. Then the Chief Procurement, Mechanization and Seed Business Officer, Gustavo Lunardi, talked about Seeds and explained the operation from processing to sale. The third lecture addressed the status of the harvest, the potential of the pasture area in Brazil, and the suitability for conversion of pasture; it was presented by the Chief Operations Officer, Leonardo Celini. Afterwards, the Head of Innovation and Strategic Planning Management, Frederico Logemann, talked about Innovation. Finally, the Director of Human Resources, Sustainability and IT, Álvaro Dilli, presented a lecture on topics related to Sustainability.
During the event, the CEO, Aurélio Pavinato, received the Attendance Seal certificate, of the Association of Capital Markets Analysts and Investment Professionals of Brazil (Apimec Brasil), from Sandra Peres, the Association's Corporate Relations Director. The seal is granted to companies that present at public meetings of the association on a continuous basis.
In the second period of the day, the guests moved to the fields, where they participated in three stations. The first station was about Regenerative Agriculture and cotton harvesting. The second was at the Cotton Mill, where the participants could observe all stages of the cotton processing. In the third station, called Take-up, it was possible to see in detail the cotton classification process.
"Once again, Farm Day has achieved its main goal, which is to bring investors and analysts as close as possible to the daily life of a farm, so that they can learn about the technologies and infrastructure available for the production of grains and cotton," said the Chief Financial and Investor Relations Officer, Ivo Brum.
