SLC Agrícola’s innovation area participates in event about technology in the field
Ronei Sana, digital agriculture coordinator at SLC Agrícola, represented the company at Agrotic 2021, a four-day event that discussed the importance of technology in the field and evolving trends in the sector. At the event, organized by Tele Síntese, one of the leading information vehicles on technology and telecommunications, the company underlined its position as the benchmark in developing technological innovations to enhance agricultural yield.
Speaking on the theme “Is it possible to further increase yield through innovation?” Ronei pointed out that although the field has been witnessing digital transformation for a few years now, this process accelerated significantly with the onset of the new coronavirus pandemic.
“Technology is fundamental for efficiently managing large rural properties remotely and for maintaining and even increasing the yield rates in Brazilian agriculture. For this, it is necessary to train people, develop innovations and put this entire ecosystem into operation. And that is SLC Agrícola’s mission,” said Ronei at a panel discussion in which representatives from Cooperfarms, KPMG and Raízen participated.
