AGOPA holds Cotton Day in Pamplona Farm
On July 21st, the Pamplona Farm hosted the 14th Cotton Day, an event held by Agopa (Goiás Cotton Producers Association). This year's event had the following theme: Knowledge and innovation yielding results. The event was attended by producers and invited companies, amounting to nearly 300 people.
The guests visited the installations that were assembled in the field of research and cultivation and watched lectures on the performance of cultivars, nitrogen fertilization, soybean, corn and cotton production systems and the standard handling system of the Pamplona Farm. The event was ended with a lunch for all guests.
Embrapa, Goiás Foundation and SLC Agrícola were in charge of the event's technical organization, with support from Abrapa, Fialgo and IBA. The event was sponsored by the companies BASF, Bayer, FMC and J&H.
