SLC Agrícola wins the Best in Agribusiness Award
The winning companies in the 16th edition of the Best in Agribusiness Award were announced on Tuesday night (11/24th) by Revista Globo Rural and Editora Globo. SLC Agrícola was once again the winner in the Agricultural Production category.
In addition to the agribusiness companies that stood out the most in 2019 in 21 categories, the champion in Sustainability, the biggest among the 500 and the highlight among small and medium in the sector, were also awarded
The award was made based on data collected by Serasa Experian for the 2019 financial year. "We mapped more than 2000 companies to reach the 500 largest companies. Together, these 500 companies earned more than R$ 918 billion in net revenue, R$ 920 billion in assets and R$ 284 billion in equity. Net sales indicate an increase of 7% in relation to the previous edition ", said Leila Martins, COO of Serasa.
During the ceremony, the 16th edition of the Agribusiness Yearbook was also launched, a print publication distributed throughout the country with reports and a ranking of the best and largest companies in Brazilian agriculture.
