2024 Quality Meeting
Leaders and employees participated in the 2024 Quality Meeting, held on December 17 and 18 at Hotel Windsor, in Brasília (DF). The meeting was once again divided into three topics – Seeds, Grains and Cotton – and discussed practices, management, technology and other topics related to these crops. The CEO of SLC Agrícola, Aurélio Pavinato, participated in the meeting, as well as executive officers Álvaro Dilli (HR, Sustainability and IT), Leonardo Celini (Operations), Roberto Acauan (Sales and New Businesses) and Gustavo Lunardi (Procurement, Seeds and Mechanization) and employees from the areas involved. The goal of the meeting, which was broadcast to employees at the Company's headquarters and farms, was to facilitate the exchange of knowledge among all participants, aiming to discuss and delve deeper into the concepts and practices related to the quality of these products.
First day
On Tuesday, the first day of the event, the following topics were addressed on Seeds: quality of seeds and relationship with LAS; industrial yield and its relationship with the quality of soybean seeds; and analysis of customer service and indicators of SLC Sementes. After the first break, the first lecture "Strategies for improving the quality of soybean seeds" was delivered by seed consultant Alexandre Gazolla Neto. Later, the topic "Quality Indicators for 2024 Deliverables" was discussed, and awards were presented to the soybean seed-producing farms for in 2024.
After lunch, the participants discussed the topics "Cotton seed quality indicators of 2024" and "Action plan for soybean and cotton seed quality," and awards were presented to cotton seed-producing farms in 2024. Prior to that, Eliana Queiroz, from BASF, delivered the lecture "Assured quality of cotton seeds at BASF/Fibermax."
In the afternoon, on the main theme Grains, leaders and other team members discussed "UBGs Overview – 2023/2024" and "Challenges of the 2023/2024 Crop Year." Then, awards were presented to Grain Processing Units, followed by the closing of the event.

Second day
The second day of the 2024 Quality Meeting was entirely dedicated to cotton. At the opening, cotton indicators, strategic drivers, projects and capacity of the plants were discussed. Later, the results of the working groups on cotton quality were discussed, as well as the following topics: "Results of the 2023/2024 crop year," "New classification model," "Cotton management from the perspective of Agricultural Planning," "Mechanization overview — challenges of the crop year," and "Challenges of the logistics and export chain." On the same day, Eduardo Gastaud, CEO of WWin, presented the lecture "Safe Behavior," and Diego Beutler and Fabiano do Prado, from Kepler Weber, delivered the lecture "Lean Manufacturing."
