Buyers Mission at Pamplona Farm
SLC Agrícola's Pamplona Farm (Goiás) was visited by the Buyers Mission 2019 on August 22nd. The delegation was formed by a group of 20 members, coming from the main destinations of the Brazilian cotton production: China, Bangladesh, Vietnam, Turkey, Pakistan, India and South Korea, which added represent 80% of the Brazilian cotton exports.
During this initiative, which was held in partnership with the Brazilian Cotton Producers Association (ABRAPA), the group could better understand the entire structure of SLC Agrícola, especially the processes involving cotton production, such as quality control, formation of even running lots and application of lots to the customers.
According to Aldo Tisott, SLC Agrícola’ Sales and New Business Director, that was a great opportunity to present to clients all the company's structure, practices and differentials which make SLC Agrícola to be ahead of other cotton producers. “SLC Agrícola is working closely to ABRAPA so other Brazilian producers may use some practices that we do to improve the quality and homogeneity of Brazilian cotton, improving the image of our cotton overseas, which will help to better price our products”, said Aldo.
