SLC Agrícola wins all categories in Latin America Executive Team Agribusiness ranking
For the fifth straight year, SLC Agrícola, is one of the top three companies operating in Latin America’s agribusiness sector, according to the ranking compiled by the Latin America Executive Team. In the 2020 edition of the survey, which is prepared annually by the U.S. magazine Institutional Investor, the company placed first in the seven categories analyzed for the Agribusiness sector, including Best CEO and Best Sustainability Metrics. In all, 177 companies figured in the ranking, and SLC Agrícola placed 26th among the world’s leading companies.
“Garnering once again this important recognition shows that we are on the right path in our operations. We’ve always been committed to working responsibly and sustainably in the various areas of our business, and we will continue to invest in technologies, practices and methodologies that support not just our long-term growth, but more importantly the development of Brazilian agribusiness,” said Aurélio Pavinato, CEO of SLC Agrícola.
The recent study conducted by the Latin America Executive Team analyzed the performance of corporations on various fronts, such as best CEO and CFO, outstanding professionals and programs in the area of Investor Relations and the best sustainability metrics. In the agribusiness sector, SLC Agrícola and its officers placed first in all categories, including Aurélio Pavinato as Best CEO, Ivo Brum as Best CFO and Frederico Logemann as Best IR Professional, an area in which the company also placed first as Best Investor Relations Team and Program. Lastly, the company topped the list among the companies in the categories Best Investors Meeting and Best Sustainability Metrics.
